About 12.5m2 (135 sq. ft.) of red and black Victorian geometric tiles

Update 24th August

They are now up for auction on eBay - item no. 230283286888
Auction ends 30th August, 15:09 BST

Owing to the amount of interest from overseas buyers I've now broken down all the "loose" tiles and packed them in blue boxes, like those used for the "packed" ones, so that they can be palletised.
There are now 30 boxes which would stack 560mm (22") high on a pallet measuring 800mm (31 1/2") by 900mm (35 1/2").
The shipping weight, excluding pallet and wrapping, is 420kg (925lb).
UK buyers should be able to find the cost of transport by going to the website of a pallet transport firm e.g.                                                  http://www.etsltd.co.uk/online/
Collection postcode would be SP3 6RA and a tail lift is not required for collection.

I have recently rebuilt the verandah of my house and increased the depth by about 18 inches so the floor needs extending. Unfortunately the original tiling was in a poor state with the majority of tiles being loose because the base that it was laid on was much too thin and was breaking up.  The cost of enough matching tiles to extend it and replace the broken ones was prohibitive (prices from salvage dealers were between £2.50 and £6 per tile) so I am having to build the new floor with a cheaper alternative.

The old tiles have now been taken up carefully and are for sale.  As you will see they comprise squares, triangles and rectangles in both red and black and are unglazed. The squares are 4 ¼" (108mm), the triangles are 4 ¼" on both short sides and the rectangles are 6" (152mm)  x 1 ½" (38mm).  All are ½" (12.7mm)  thick.
They are embossed on the rear with the name The Architectural Pottery, Poole. Apparently the Architectural Pottery were in business from 1854 to 1895 - which dates the tiles as Victorian - when they were bought out by Carters who, subsequently, became the Poole Pottery. The Architectural Pottery was highly renowned for its geometric and encaustic tiles. They are suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

The tiles that are included in the list below are in good condition for their age.  Over 80% of them (listed as Packed) are sorted by colour and shape and packed in 17 boxes each measuring 395x300x110mm.  The vast majority of those came up with very little bonding or grout. Those described as Loose came up with the base cement - up to about 1 ¼" thick - but, as most were bedded in what appears to be a lime based mortar, they should clean up OK after a few days soaking in water.

There are also:
1 box of 34 red and 26 black square tiles which are broken into 2 parts but could be glued together.
1 box of broken rectangular tiles. So there are 19 boxes altogether
Some broken tiles in the loose lot.

The tiles are located in Tisbury, Wiltshire and you are welcome to inspect them. My rough estimate is that the total weight is about 800kg (16 cwt). Collection is preferred but I would palletise them for £25 plus transport at cost.

I've no firm idea of their value but on the basis of what I was quoted from salvage merchants it would seem that they would expect to get at least £2500 so I would expect at least £1000 for them. If you can convince me that that is an unreasonable valuation then make me an offer.
